The article (featured above) assured students the university is not trying to make a profit from the students. The head of the Merensky library, Mr. Otto explained that the hiring costs of the 10 photocopier machines is a lot. Considering that the library only charged 5 cents to have a document copied the library does not make any profit from photocopying. He further emphasized that Masters and doctoral students only pays 3 cents per document. The university also encouraged students to present their student cards to make qualify for of this special rate this thus protected the university and its students from outsiders that could misuse this service.
