04 February 1983: On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the student newspaper, die Perdeby announced the variety of Faculty and day houses that the first-year group of 1983 could attend.

The article, featured above, listed the day houses and the activities of the student houses of the Faculties of Law, Engineering and Medical faculty as well as occupational therapy. The Perdeby also reported on the 14 student residences and the places still available for students and the number of first years expected to reside there in 1983.
