The 30 April payment date for the 2,5% discount will remain.

Half (50%) of the account is due at 30 April.  Please take note that half (50%) of the cost of a module added between 30 April and 31 July is payable immediately on the day of adding the module.

The full (100%) account is payable at 31 July.  The full cost of a module added after 31 July is payable immediately on the day of adding the module.

After registration, accounts are available in the student portal.

If a student neglects to fulfil the provisions concerning the payment of student fees, the University of Pretoria retains the right to:

• levy interest on the outstanding amounts at a rate equal to the prime interest rate as at 1 February of the year concerned;

• withhold examination results;

• refuse enrolment for a following term;

• deny the student the right to a certificate of conduct;

• withhold the student’s degree/diploma certificate;

• terminate accommodation in a residence; and

• hand over the account to the attorneys of the University of Pretoria or to debt collectors for recovery of the amount owing, as well as any additional cost.
