The Radiography Department at the University of Pretoria takes about 60 students in first year. The intake is limited by the available clinical training facilities. There are opportunities to grow the facilities which will soon see the block teaching and learning activities being alternated with practical training or employment responsibilities in the case of post-graduate students. Having a manageable number of students provides the opportunities for close working relations between students, lecturers and clinical supervisors.

The Department of Radiography ascribes for the “FLY – Finishing Line is Yours” as adopted by the University. Efforts are being made in the form of remedial work and tutorial classes to ensure that our students complete their degrees in record time.
