The SATMO was written on Saturday, 24 August 2019 from 14:00 to 16:00. There were 45 candidates at UP who wrote the test. The UP top scorers are:

1. Ulrik de Mûelenaere, a Hons BSc(Computer Science) student who scored 12 out of 20. (No. 4 on the national list).
2. James Murray Louw, a second year BSc(Mathematics) student who scored 10 out of 20. (No. 10 on the national list).
3. Henri Gonin, a UP-affiliated candidate (no-student). (No. 22 on the national list).
4. Kevin Marbach, a first BSc(Actuarial and Financial Mathematics) student who scored 8 out of 20. (No. 23 on the national list).
The success of the event is attributed to the students’ availability.
