Timetable 2nd SEMESTER 2020  
   

Honours projects
Students for the WTW795 project must identify a suitable supervisor and agree on a research project. See Honours topics available for​ WTW 795 (Project 795) here; Honours topics for WTW 792 will be communicated to relevant students. Candidates are advised to start on the project as soon as possible.

Important dates

  • January: First meeting. The academic year commences a week before the undegraduate academic timetable.  Lectures are presented weekly.
  • April: Deadline to choose a supervisor for a project.
  • May: Last day of lectures for 1st Semester. 2nd Semester follows the undergraduate timetable.
  • 14 - 17 July: Writing Skills Workshop
  • 20 - 21 July: Python Workshop
  • Essay oral presentation: during the last week of November or first week of December.

The Honours study consists of a number of course work modules and a mandatory project.


Admission Requirements

An appropriate Bachelors degree with a minimum of 60% for each Mathematics/Applied Mathematics module on third-year level. For admission requirements and additional information, click on the link of the relevant degree listed above.

Closing date for Honours applications is 31 October
