Why is Academic Writing vital:
- It speeds up communication between student and supervisor.
- It speeds up the judging process of articles.
- Writing should happen straight after the idea forms, that is, before research! This way, focus of the idea, self critique and crystallization happens. What many students do is write only after the research is done and this can lead to a lot of wasted time and energy.
