After a very successful year filled with amazing achievements and participation, Luminous Day House ended their 2024/2025 term with a bang at the Student Life Awards Ceremony, accumulating a total of 11 house awards and 6 individual awards.

 

Along with winning the General Committee Development award, Innovation in a Day House, Excellence in Service in a Day House, RAG in a Day House, and Campus Awareness in a Day House, they also received the awards for Culture in a Day House, Personal Development in a Day House, Treasurer in a Day House, and the Most Improved Day House. Their Archives and Records Executive Committee member, Bao Le, received the award for the Best Academic Performance by a Student Leader in a Day House, and their Chairperson, Raul Rajkumar, not only received the awards for Training Aficionado and the Helping Hands award, but also the ultimate award for Exceptional Leadership and the award for Leaving a Legacy in a Day House for his exceptional performance and leadership as chair.

 

Their House Guardian, Juanita Haug, also received the award for Day House Guardian of the Year, for her unwavering support and effort to always ensure that the house’s light shines brightly.

 

Along with all these wonderful achievements, they also took home the awards for Day House of the Year and Structure of the Year, which is the highest honour that can be received by a day house.

 

We are extremely proud of these extraordinary achievements accumulated by the 2024/2025 Executive Committee, and know that this is only the beginning of all the greatness that will be achieved by the house.
