Dr Marné de Vries

Marné de Vries is an Industrial Engineer with academic experience as well as practical experience in industry.  Starting at an Industrial Engineering consulting company, she was involved in several projects, gaining practical knowledge within process engineering and information systems design.

Currently, she teaches to undergraduate and postgraduate students within the areas of information systems design and enterprise engineering. She has been invited by Prof Jan Dietz (one of the founders of CEEN) to become a member of the CIAO. Enterprise Engineering Network (CEEN), representing the University of Pretoria. The CEEN is a community of academics and practitioners from 13 universities who strive to contribute to the development of the discipline of EE and to apply it in practice.

She is a member of SAIIE (South African Institute of Industrial Engineering) and EACF (Enterprise Architecture Collaboration Forum).
