In general, probabilities of above normal rainfall increase in the summer rainfall region towards early and mid-summer. Also, below normal maximum temperatures are expected towards mid-summer in anticipation of an expected wetter than normal summer, except over the southern coastal areas and SW Cape where temperatures are likely to be above normal.
