Above normal rainfall chances increase as we approach the summer rainfall season, most possibly a consequence of the developing La Niña event.
Above normal mean maximum temperatures over the larger region are highly likely during the forecast period, with below normal maximum temperatures over parts of southern Africa towards the end of the forecast period.
