Above-normal rainfall is expected over the western winter rainfall region and southern coast until early spring, followed by below-normal rainfall until the end of the forecast period. Below-normal rainfall is expected over the forecast region during spring and early summer where there is skill (ROC>0.5).
Enhanced likelihood of above-normal maximum temperatures over almost the entire region are expected during the forecast period. Below-normal maximum temperatures only likely over the southern coastal and southwestern Cape during winter and early spring.
