We will likely remain in ENSO-neutral condition until summer. This is even though cooler than average SSTs over the central and eastern equatorial Pacific Ocean. On the predicted rainfall front the SW Cape can expect favourable outcomes during winter. We also have a possible favourable start to the summer rainfall season. We can also expect predominantly high maximum temperatures over the larger part of the forecast region and period.
