In September 2019, two alumni from the Department of Geography Geoinformatics and Meteorology joined the MetService in New Zealand as weather forecasters. Pictured here are Thapi Makgabutlane and Luis Fernades. The two of them make it 10 of our Meteorology graduates who have now joined the MetService over the past years.
