Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)

Entry into the BVSc programme is highly competitive due to the popularity of the programme and limited available spaces. You will study on the University of Pretoria’s specialised Onderstepoort Campus in the Faculty of Veterinary Science, the only faculty of its kind in South Africa. The six-year programme has been carefully constructed to set you on the path towards a challenging and enriching career in veterinary science. Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing (BVetNurs)

The BVetNurs programme requires three years of full-time study on the University of Pretoria’s specialised Onderstepoort Campus. The first and second years of the programme are devoted to didactic teaching and practical skills training, while the third year of the programme includes work-integrated clinical training. Entry into the BVetNurs programme is highly competitive due to the popularity of the programme and limited available spaces.
