Welcome to OVAH Diagnostic Imaging.
We provide a comprehensive imaging service within the hospital and for external referral cases.

What do we offer?

Digital radiography
Fluoroscopy
Ultrasonography including echocardiography
Nuclear medicine
Computed tomography (CT)
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

We work closely with other disciplines, such as surgery and internal medicine, to optimise patient diagnosis and treatment.

Veterinary education

Our academic personnel are involved in undergraduate and postgraduate training, as well as continuing education for practitioners. Our teaching model includes hybrid and case-based learning, practical sessions and small-group teaching. We offer a residency training programme (MMedVet), approved by the South African Veterinary Council.
