Summary CV

Dr. Diana Fisher graduated as a veterinarian in 2015 from the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Pretoria and joined the Department in 2017 as an intern in Equine Medicine and Surgery. She was accepted into the residency programme for Equine Internal Medicine in 2018. She is also concurrently enrolled as a resident with the European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM). Dr. Fisher has a special interest in neonatal critical care, endocrinology and cardiology.

Research Expertise/Interest

Dr. Fisher is in the process of completing her MSc degree which investigated the clinical, haematological and serum biochemistry changes in sedated horses. Her MMedVet research project will look at Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction in South African horses.
