Engineers-without-Borders (UP) won the 1st Engineers-without-borders-South Africa Empowering Communities through Engineering Excellence Award

Engineers-without-Borders (UP) won the 1st Engineers-without-borders-South Africa Empowering Communities through Engineering Excellence Award for their projects at Kutumela Molefi Primary Farm School. The projects were done under the professional leadership of the EWB-UP chair of 2015, Paul Ssali. Mr Ssali was also voted as the first ever, student representative on the EWB-SA board of directors.

40 students enrolled in the Community-based Project Module (JCP) of the Faculty Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology did their field work for the module via the EWB-UP projects. Please have a look at their YouTubes on the project:
