Husky and Romi Sanctuary received help from JCP-students

Posted on April 19, 2015

During the past recess three groups of students enrolled for the module, Community-based Project Module (JCP) of the Faculty Engineering, the Built Environment and Information Technology assisted at the Husky and Romi Sanctuary in Reitz, Free State. The students had to build a small dam for the husky’s and wolves to cool down. The dam is 3meter in diameter and 800mm deep. The students also assisted with the shades for the wolfs and huskys. They enjoyed the project as they can be around the husky’s and use their engineering and building skills to assist this non-profit organisation.
