Merie Gouws, Nadia Hoffmann, Pieter Gouws, Tanja Ehlers, Melissa Ingels, Tiaan Voges, Hein Roelofse, Kobus Pretorius, Ramona Rabe, Antionette Southey, Jacques van Zyl and Reinhart Buit, all students enrolled for the compulsory undergraduate course, Community-Based Project (JCP) of the Faculty Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology made hammocks for various animals at the National Zoological Gardens (Pretoria Zoo).  They have to make sure that there are no sharp edges that will injure the animals and use mainly fire brigade hoses.
