Thembelisha Kiddies Haven in Mamelodi a new challenge for JCP students

One group of students enrolled for the compulsory undergraduate course, Community-Based project Module (JCP) of the Faculty Engineering, Built Environment and Information technology decided to do their 40 hour field work at Thembelisha Kiddies Haven in Mamelodi. The shelter accommodates seven kids. The shelter needs maintenance work and the students, Mr TK Baloyi, Ms M Kgaphola, Ms TM Mgidi, Mr MJ Mogale, Mr KM Mokgohloa and Ms T Molobi accepted the challenge of the maintenance needed at the shelter. They have worked for the past three weekends conscientiously to renovate as much as possible in the time available. They reported that they do feel that they are making a difference in the community and are very positive about their project.
