A 10-minute near-patient diagnostic test for neonatal sepsis - that would be a game changer, as neonatal sepsis remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality in our setting.
This is such a great collaboration with colleagues from Seroxo Ltd (UK) and ITERATE Design and Innovation Ltd (UK) to develop a Leukocyte ImmunoTest (LIT), focusing on the usability of such a future device in our LMIC setting.
The next step will be to test the device in our clinical setting.
