Mothusi's research outlined the poorer growth and neurodevelopmental outcomes in 18-month old infants exposed to placental insufficiency and HIV. He also enjoyed the opportunity to have engaging discussions with fellow researchers and professionals from diverse backgrounds, as well as learning about new research in the field of pediatric HIV.
