Prof Priya Soma-Pillay was a contributor to this new and very import resource on pre-term birth: Born too soon: decade of action. The report outlines the fact that 1 in 10 babies are born pre-term and this has not improved in the last decade in any region of the world and prematurity is the leading cause of infant mortality.
