Jeané Cloete is a paediatrician at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital, Pretoria, Gauteng South Africa. She is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, in the School of Medicine at the University of Pretoria. She graduated as a paediatrician at the University of Pretoria in 2010 and started working in the Department of Paediatrics since 2011. She has a wide field of interests and has multiple publications in numerous fields including HIV medicine, malnutrition, rheumatology and COVID 19 in children as well as medical education. She is a diplomat in HIV medicine and child health and a graduate fellow in medical education at the Sub-Saharan Africa-FAIMER Regional Institute.
