Dr Hoffman's focus area is Nutrition during Pregnancy and Early Development. She obtained her PhD in 2015, her PhD study was part of a large Randomised controlled trial that determined the effect of Lipid-Based Nutritional supplements on the growth and development of infants. She is currently a Lecturer at the Consumer and Food Science Department of the University of Pretoria and obtained an NRF Y2 rating in 2019 |
