Nerina Bosman (Afrikaans) spoke about a new scholarly book, Contemporary Afrikaans Linguistics, on the RSG programme Taaldinge. She is one of the editors of the book together with proff. Wannie Carstens (NWU) and Theresa Biberauer (Cambridge). There is a need for such a book amid growing interest in Afrikaans internationally - from the USA to the UK, Poland, Russia, Vienna, Croatia, etc.
