The theme for this years Nothing But Vernac and Expression was Our Africa, My Culture. The theme was about celebrating culture in the 21st century.
It aimed to bring to light how we as Africans have moulded and personalised our traditions so that they are relevant to the present time.

In order to get the theme across the girls were able to use the following categories:

+photographs
+drawings
+paintings
+written poems
+outfits
+live performances(skits,singing,dancing, poetry, drama,hip-hop dancers,hip-hop rappers)

Vividus entered a total of five(7) pieces: one poem, three paintings and three drawings. We are extremely proud of the effort put in by the girls.

We encourage more of our members and the University students at large to participate in this event next year as it encourages artistic expression.
