RAG Week

Posted on April 08, 2020

RAG week was from the 3rd until the 8th of February 2020. The week was full of hard work and socials to get ready for RAG of Hope day and bond with our RAG Partners (the fantastic women of Asterhof).

We had RAG Activities every day where we made products (scrunchies and dream catchers), decorated our Box Cart and made decorations for our (Visterhof’s) with our RAG Partners. These products were made with the intention of selling them on RAG of Hope day to raise funds for Rock of Hope (the charity that we had selected for this year). We also planned on doing Henna on Rag of Hope day – this is an annual Vividus tradition.

Don’t be mistaken- the week was certainly not entirely about work. We had socials on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday, we had a pool party with Asterhof and Morula; on Wednesday, we had girl’s night with Asterhof and on Friday, we had a social with Asterhof and House Tau.

Unfortunately, due to poor weather, RAG of Hope Day 2020 was cancelled. However, the week was still a success! People worked hard and beautiful friendships were formed. Ultimately, the success of the week is measured by the hard work and effort that’s put in as well as the positive impact it has on every single volunteer. The hard work that’s put in for RAG and Community engagement is about helping others.

Everyone knew the hard work put in was for a greater purpose and that is all we could ever ask for!
