Welcoming week was from 26 January to 3 February. Welcoming Day was an incredible success- we received about 200 registrations and many more girls came to find out about the House. At the parents meeting we had that afternoon, the parents were supportive and excited but at the same time scared for their girls. I reassured them that Vividus Ladies will take good care of their daughter and that she will find a home with us.

The rest of the week went by way too quickly! We had lunches with House Tau, The Tower, Morula Legae and many more. The socials with the men’s residences were definitely worth the sleepy eyes the next day! Legend’s night was also a huge success with some of the old EC coming to speak to us and inspiring us to be more and do more.

Our RAG partners this year- Morula Legae- are absolutely amazing and their Jarre took quite a liking to our Nitas. We had a great social with them at their pool on the Wednesday night. We are looking forward to form real bonds with them and make 2019 a year to remember!

The Final Nita ceremony on the last Sunday was also a very special and exciting event. There was cake and music whilst the Nitas took a photo with the Chairperson, the Nita Guardian and Lady Aspiros.

I want to thank each and every Nita for joining us and participating while giving off your unique flavour to this world. And lastly I want to thank the EC, the ladies that stood behind me and helped me through this week, because we all did this together and without every one of them Welcoming Week wouldn’t have been possible.
