The Visual Studies division at the Department of Visual Arts honoured their top performing students in 2014 at a small ceremony held on 23 March. As a growing field internationally, the Visual Studies division has been presenting these awards for the past three years as a way in which to celebrate the achievements of students enrolled for the Visual Studies degree.

At third year level, Stacey Cabeleira achieved the highest marks. Johannes Engelbrecht achieved second highest marks and Kimberley Watson achieved third highest marks. On the honours level Alexander Knight achieved highest marks with Obakeng Kgongoane a close second place. Two students, Deneesher Pather and Kerry Moseley both achieved third highest marks. We wish the students every success in their future academic and/or career plans.
