Together with his team, the expedition sets out to follow in the footsteps of one of the Royal Geographical Society’s most daring explorers, Joseph Thomson. The expedition will cross the Equatorial East Africa to open a route from the coast, through the dreaded Maasaikind to Lake Victoria. This Land Rover Odyssey will be used to improve lives by distributing about 10 000 mosquito nets to pregnant mothers and young children in an effort towards malaria elimination.
