A Day in the Life of the University of Pretoria. 18 March 1983

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the student newspaper, Die Perdeby, reported on the design of the climbing wall on the Hillcrest Campus.

Members of the student adventure clubExploratio, Jaz Schoonesand Derievan Eden, designed the surface of the rock climbing wall. The design was suited for both beginner and more accomplished climbers. The cost of construction amounted to R10 000.
