A Day in the Life of the University of Pretoria. 13 August 2020

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the University of Pretoria Archives (UPA) started with the "Day in the life" web series.

This online exhibition gives a snapshot of a moment in the university’s past and celebrates UP’s rich and diverse history as well as the resilience and struggles of students and staff. This exhibit was started as an antidote to combat the barrage of negative news coverage during the Covid-19 lockdown, when social distancing legislation limited campus access. The exhibition was compiled by using archival material housed in the UP Archives. In 2021, the UPA received funding to print a selection of these posters.
