A Day in the Life of the University of Pretoria. 28 November 1979

The local paper explained that after the woman from Eersterus applied at the University of Pretoria in 1979, she was told that it was not UP policy to admit students who were not white. In response to her application the RAU Rector had said that while she was the first, he hoped that she would not be the last coloured student at that university.
