A Day in the Life of the University of Pretoria. 18 August 2014

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" student newspaper the Perdeby reported that disciplinary action would be taken against two female students from Madelief.

The two students in question were involved in what became known as a “blackface incident”. The two students had painted their faces black and dressed up as cleaners for a private party. However, because they were registered UP students, disciplinary action was taken as their actions had brought the University into disrepute.
