A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 08 August 2020

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the local newspaper, Pretoria News, reported on the appointment of one of the youngest deans in the Faculty of Law.

Professor Charles Maimela was appointed as Deputy Dean: Teaching and Learning of the Faculty of Law at the age of 32 for the term August 2020 to April 2024. Professor Maimela holds the degrees LLB LLM LLD (Unisa). He joined the Department of Private Law at the University of Pretoria as a lecturer in July 2016. His main research interests are in the fields of medical law and customary law, and he has published numerous articles and book chapters, as well as a monograph on Religion and law in South Africa.
