A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 15 March 1980

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the UP rowing team competed in the “White Water Highveld” rowing competition.

The March 1980 issue of the Perdeby, reported that even though it was still early the season the rowing team was practicing with earnest. At this “White Water Highveld” competition competitors competed in a shorter canoe. Each race was set to last twenty minutes and the winner was determined by the fastest finishing time. The paper noted that this competition was in preparation for the international competition at the end of March.
