On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria”, the Pretoria Chapter of Nations Associations of South Africa hosted their first Green Week on the campus

The student newspaper, the Perdeby, reported on this event and is featured above. The main objective of the Green Week was to create an awareness of the environment. The associations also aimed to show students how to incorporate going green in their daily activities. The Green Week closed with a tree planting ceremony on campus.
