On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria”, UP student Lerina Erasmus received an award for her stage acting.

The article in the 1968 Rand Daily Mail, noted that Erasmus received the Ludwig Binge medal of Honour for her stage acting. The medal was awarded by the Department of Drama.
