On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" Prof Jerry Kuye, Director of the School of Public Management and Administration acted as respondent on the State of the Public Service Report.

The 2010 Communike, published by the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, noted that the theme of the discussion was Integration, Coordination and Effective Service delivery. This annual debate analysis the performance of the Public Service against the constitution and the government values.

The UPA preserves the history of the University of Pretoria.
