A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 7 October 2009

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" students and staff of the Faculty of Economic Management attend a gala awards function held at the Michaelangelo Hotel in Sandton.

On this evening, Jan Bosman, a master’s students in the Department of Taxation won the Deneys Reitz Tax Thesis competition. This competition was open to all South African University students. Photos and a report of this prestigious event appeared in the Faculty’s 2009 communique. Bosman’s study examined the tax treatment of foreign exchange transaction.
