The 1973 article, as featured above, reported that Dr. Theodore G. Sherbeck, a breeder, recently employed two students. Rien van Wyk and Pieter Beckers, two Agricultural students, went to Sherbeck’s farm in Nebraska to assist on the cattle breeding farm. In his correspondence with prof. Bonsma, the Head of the Animal Science and Physiology Sherbeck praised the knowledge and practical experience of the Tukkie students.
