A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 07 September 2006

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the Department of Business Management awarded six doctorates at a single ceremony for the first time in department’s history. This graduation pointed to the growth of the department in recent years.

Since the incorporation of the Teachers’ Training College into UP in 2002 the Department also presented Business Management and Entrepreneurship on the Groenkloof Campus. By 2005 the number of lectures in the department increased to 16. 2007 saw an even higher growth in student numbers when  Entrepreneurship became a compulsory part of all BCom studies in the second semester of the first year.
