Exhibits include, as explained in the article above, a paper exhibit in the Merensky library that featured a papyrus from Egypt as well as a rare book collection in Africana. Animal Science’s exhibition included a bee hive while Chemistry and Geologist showcase a range of different metals and stones.

The UPA preserves the history of the University of Pretoria. We have an extensive photo collection and earlier copies of the senate, council and faculty minutes. We also have an extensive clipping collection in our holdings. Please contact us on [email protected] to share your memories of Tukkies or access our collection virtually.
