On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the student newspaper, Perdeby, reported on the achievements of the Tukkie gymnastic team.

The article, featured above, reported that the trampoline team was ready for the provincial championship. This was the first time that the trampoline would be competing. In 1967 the Tukkie club was the second biggest club in the province with 19 men and four ladies.
