A day in the life at the University of Pretoria.30 July 2020

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" UP announced the appointment of of Associate Professor Charles Maimela as Deputy Dean: Teaching and Learning of the Faculty of Law.

Prof Professor Tawana Kupe, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of UP, explained that “Professor Maimela holds the degrees LLB LLM LLD (Unisa). He joined the Department of Private Law at the University of Pretoria as a lecturer in July 2016. His main research interests are in the fields of medical law and customary law, and he has published numerous articles and book chapters, as well as a monograph on Religion and law in South Africa”. Professor Charles Maimela term was set to be from 1 August 2020 until 30 April 2024.
