On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the Engineering student society hosted a film evening.

The film, article featured above, focused on the biggest shipping yard in the world in 1974 located in Rotterdam. On the evening Tukkies students learned about the functioning and design of special cargo ships, specialist lifts as well as the biggest concrete factory.

The UPA preserves the history of the University of Pretoria.
