On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the student newspaper, Die Perdeby reported on the number of Tukkie students who are politically active.

The article, featured above, found that only 1 in 50 students were members of a political society. The journalist investigating found that students felt apathy towards the political systems because the parties did not address all of their concerns and led to conflict between students.
