A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 23 April 1982

During the April holidays builders completed the extension of the Administration building, fondly known as “Die Skip/ The Ship”. The student newspaper, Die Perdeby reported on this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" that some offices were already in use.

The Administration was designed by UP alumnus Brian Sandrock and completed in 1968. Sandrock was again commissioned to design a wing to the east of the building. Construction began in 1979 and was fully completed in 1968.
